Overview In this role you will shape CyrusOne's external content and education platforms to explain data center infrastructure to diverse audiences. You'll own editorial programming and distribute content across YouTube, short-form video, podcasts, and executive channels, crafting trusted, accessible education rather than traditional marketing. You will work with internal experts to translate complex topics into credible, platform-native storytelling and capture on-site footage to power the content engine. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a focus on audience understanding, credibility, and impact in public conversations about digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Translate complex infrastructure topics into engaging explainer and long-form content across multiple formats
- Identify audience questions and misconceptions and develop clear, credible content to address them
- Own strategy and execution for YouTube and short-form video channels, including planning, growth, distribution, and optimization
- Capture on-location content at data centers, construction sites, events, and executive engagements and develop scalable formats
- Support production of podcasts and long-form interviews with executives and experts, with content repurposing across channels
- Manage paid social campaigns focused on education, awareness, and visibility with data-driven optimization
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to bring concepts from ideation to execution
Key requirements- 3+ years in content marketing, digital media, social media, video content, or platform-based publishing
- Strong storytelling instincts and audience understanding
- Ability to simplify technical topics for diverse audiences
- Experience building content strategies across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, or similar
- Experience with AI-enabled content/production tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Descript, Riverside)
- Interest in on-camera and field-production capabilities; equipment and training provided
- Experience partnering with external creative/video agencies
- Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for on-site productions
