Overview As a Planner, you will develop and manage production schedules to align demand with capacity and materials. You'll work within the Planning & Inventory team to coordinate cross-functional inputs and ensure on-time delivery while optimizing resources. The role supports new product introduction and transfers, and drives continuous improvement of planning processes. This is a hands-on position with leadership elements and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to meet commitments.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and execute production schedules for designated products
- Analyze capacity, material availability, and demand signals to set feasible schedules
- Communicate materials availability and build plans across the product lifecycle
- Manage engineering changes to minimize cost exposure and risk to shipments
- Participate in new product introductions and product transfers from planning perspective
- Maintain accuracy of MRP data and adjust plans based on actuals vs. plan
- Produce short- and long-term commitments to customers and coordinate resource needs
- Lead continuous improvement of planning processes and outbound order fulfillment practices
- Provide training and guidance to team members and act as expert for NAOF models and practices
Key requirements- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent
- Knowledge of production planning fundamentals, scheduling, MRP techniques, and manufacturing control systems
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external customers
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
