Overview As Engineering Manager, you drive plant efficiency through planning, program management, and succession planning. You partner with plant leaders to maintain production continuity while meeting safety, quality, and compliance standards. You apply RCA and data-driven methods to reduce downtime and cost, and you develop the maintenance team's skills and expertise. Responsibilities- Lead superintendents and small-scale maintenance projects with down-day planning
- Manage CapEx programs and MRO planning with forecasting and coaching
- Oversee employee development and succession planning
- Utilize SAP for reports (breakdown, overtime) and purchase orders
- Conduct root cause analysis of inventory variances
- Monitor spare parts stock levels and equipment trends
- Participate in plant operations and vendor meetings
- Review financials and track maintenance-related P&L
- Perform floor walks for verification and ensure PM program effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with safety, labor, and company policies
Key requirements- 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in industrial operations or related field
- Strong knowledge of project management, quality assurance, and employee development
- Knowledge of industrial machinery and preventive maintenance a plus
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is desired; high school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with SAP and data-driven maintenance planning
- Licenses to work with boilers, refrigeration components, or related equipment (required or attainable)
