Overview As Customs & Trade Compliance Manager, you will lead the global compliance framework within Finance, aligning customs processes with financial controls and audits. You'll standardize procedures, manage complex escalations, and enhance risk management and continuous improvement across regions. The role oversees brokers and trade partners, driving cost optimization and regulatory adherence. You will shape governance and support global policy deployment to sustain compliant, efficient global trade. Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the global customs and trade compliance framework aligned with financial controls and audits
- Standardize customs processes and implement global policies across regions
- Serve as escalation point for complex compliance issues with consistent resolution
- Oversee customs brokers and external trade partners, ensuring performance and global standards
- Identify and mitigate customs-related financial and compliance risks; support audit readiness and remediation
- Analyze customs data, duty spend, and performance to drive cost optimization and process improvements
Key requirements- 7-10+ years of progressive customs and trade compliance experience
- Strong expertise in customs classification, valuation, and origin
- Experience with tariff regulations and IEEPA requirements and FTAs
- Knowledge of global trade compliance frameworks and ERP/trade systems (e.g., SAP, SAP GTS)
- Ability to manage complex customs matters amid changing regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, International Trade, Law, or related field
