Overview In this role you drive the design, assessment and modernization of electrical infrastructure across Indo-Pacific facilities. You will work with government, civil, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, compliant power, lighting and backup systems that support mission readiness. You'll lead design, inspections, and documentation, while coordinating with multiple stakeholders to sustain and modernize critical infrastructure. Responsibilities- Assess existing facilities, utilities, and infrastructure for government operations
- Develop designs, calculations, specifications, and construction documents for new and upgraded systems
- Design and evaluate LV/MV electrical distribution, generators, UPS, lighting, grounding, and renewables
- Perform facility inspections, power quality analyses, and system evaluations
- Prepare reports, design packages, cost estimates, and technical recommendations
- Review contractor submissions for technical compliance
- Support construction management, commissioning, and acceptance testing
- Coordinate with government personnel, contractors, utilities, and host nation partners
- Ensure designs comply with UFC, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, OSHA, and host nation regs
- Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions for resilience and readiness
- Support contingency engineering, emergency power restoration, and rapid assessments
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated facility solutions
- Maintain engineering documentation and as-built drawings
- Provide recommendations on lifecycle maintenance, modernization, energy efficiency, and resiliency
- Promote engineering best practices, safety, and continuous improvement
Key requirements- minimum 8 years in electrical, facilities, power systems, construction management, or infrastructure modernization
- experience with DoD, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations contexts preferred
- design, analysis, or maintenance of commercial, industrial, or government electrical systems
- experience with facility construction, sustainment, modernization, or renovation projects
- experience preparing drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports
- ability to coordinate across stakeholders while meeting schedules and budgets
