Overview

In this role you will manage expenditures for REDD units and oversee budgets and grants. You will prepare financial reports, monitor funding and cost structures, and support decision-making with analysis. You'll work on administrative improvements and ensure unit operations align with university policies. This campus-based position offers the chance to contribute to research and economic development through financial stewardship.

Responsibilities
  • Manage fiscal items for REDD units: contracts, procurement, travel expenses, requisitions, and procurement card reconciliation
  • Oversee assigned grants: establish account structures, monitor expenditures, process expenses, prepare financial reports, and liaise with principal investigators
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports to staff, directors, and division leadership, including transparency on state and indirect cost funding
  • Perform administrative tasks for special projects and maintain/improve systems, processes, and business practices affecting unit operations
  • Forecast and manage department budgets and grants after reconciliation of revenue and expenses to stay within approved budgets
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or MIS/Accounting or Finance or related field
  • 1 year work-related experience
