Overview As a key member of BBP, you will design and prototype next gen opto mechanical assemblies for broadband plasma wafer inspection. You collaborate with systems, optical, electrical and software engineers to deliver robust, production ready solutions. Your work guides from requirements to release, influencing yield critical defect detection at advanced nodes. Responsibilities- Design, prototype, and build next gen opto mechanical assemblies for BBP wafer inspection
- Use CAD and simulation tools (Creo, ANSYS) to guide designs
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (systems, optical, electrical, software) to deliver best in class products
- Coordinate with manufacturing and support for smooth launches and issue resolution
- Translate requirements into released, production ready designs
- Perform tolerance analysis and develop optical mounting, alignment, and adjustment strategies
- Consider heat transfer and structural simulations to validate designs
- Select actuators and assess life time and reliability aspects
Key requirements- Doctorate with relevant work experience or equivalent
- Proficiency in CAD (Creo preferred)
- Experience in opto mechanical design from requirements to production
- Knowledge of tolerance analysis, optical mounting, alignment strategies
- Background in heat transfer and structural simulations (strongly preferred)
- Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
