Overview In this role you will support the design of mission-critical facilities within Stantec's Buildings team, applying specialized engineering knowledge to create technically solid data center solutions. You will collaborate with a cross-disciplinary project team to deliver design work aligned with client goals and scope. You will contribute to project quality, coordinating with vendors and disciplines to ensure integrated design outcomes.

Responsibilities- Develop basic system designs within own discipline under supervision
- Delegate tasks to project designers as appropriate
- Coordinate with project team to align deliverables with client scope
- Integrate work across disciplines to meet client requests
- Assist with shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, site observations, and punch lists
- Participate in professional development activities and industry events
- Support Project Engineer on project tasks and deadlines
- Maintain utilization goals and project budgets
Key requirements- Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5+ years related industry experience (preferred)
- Registered professional engineer / EIT or equivalent certification preferred
- Data center experience preferred
- Strong communication with vendors and inter-discipline teams
