Overview Lead Hydrogeologist role focusing on technical execution and leadership across hydrogeology projects. You'll guide regional groundwater characterisation, numerical analyses, and multi disciplinary efforts to support permitting, development, and site remediation. Responsibilities- Lead the technical execution of hydrogeological aspects of projects
- Estimate project costs with PMs and advise on technical approaches
- Develop approaches for regional hydrogeologic characterization
- Provide project and technical leadership on complex, multi disciplinary projects
- Develop and implement numerical analyses for groundwater and surface water systems
- Teach, mentor and develop other team members and serve as a hydrogeology resource
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Engineering, or a closely related field
- Minimum 10 years in hydrogeological investigations, including at least 5 years field experience
- Experience coordinating field characterization programs (aquifer testing, hydrophysical profiling, groundwater modeling, numerical analysis)
- Proven project leadership on complex multi disciplinary projects (budgets, schedules, regulatory/contractual commitments)
- Experience integrating hydrogeologic work with feasibility/alternative analyses
- Previous experience providing expert witness testimony at environmental hearings
