Responsibilities- Lead and manage mechanical design across multiple projects
- Interface with clients, attend meetings, represent the team
- Contribute to the full project lifecycle from design to close-out
- Provide technical expertise in air distribution, hydronic systems, and controls design
- Perform construction administration, project management, and QA of designs
- Prepare technical reports and specifications
- Develop project budgets and track schedule adherence
- Plan for additional work and scope changes
- Ensure profitability and oversee major equipment selections
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams and comply with regulatory requirements
- Uphold safety, ethics, and company policies
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in mechanical design
- Engineer in Training Certification
- Experience guiding projects from design through construction close-out
- HVAC system design experience for commercial environments
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Hands-on experience with Revit and AutoCAD
