Overview In this role, you will develop, implement, and continuously improve the QMS to meet customer expectations and regulatory standards. You will collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure robust processes that drive mission success. You will own document control, lead internal audits, and guide root-cause investigations and preventive actions. You'll train teams and monitor system data, reporting insights to leadership. This role supports Terran R's reliability goals and helps scale a quality culture across the program.

Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and improve the quality management system (QMS) aligned with standards and customer expectations
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and cross-functional teams to ensure robust processes
- Own the Document Control system and manage controlled documents, records, and change control
- Plan and lead internal audits to evaluate QMS performance and effectiveness
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) through root-cause investigations and process improvements
- Provide training and guidance on quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor, analyze, and report QMS data to management to support system improvements
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or related STEM field
- 5+ years of experience in quality systems or quality engineering, aerospace experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001 requirements and principles
- Certified QMS lead auditor (AS9100 preferred)
