Overview In this role, you will support government program operations through day-to-day accounting tasks. You will help ensure accuracy of financial records by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts and processing funds transfers and disbursements. You will apply established methods and adapt procedures as needed, with guidance on varying clerical steps and escalations of issues. You work in a professional office setting and collaborate with teammates to maintain rigorous financial controls. Responsibilities- Prepare internal and external reports and verify accuracy of financial records through balance sheet and general ledger analysis
- Prepare daily account funds, transfers and disbursements
- Select appropriate methods from available procedures and adapt guides as needed; perform clerical steps with variable sequence
- Escalate any recognized issues as appropriate
