Overview

In this role you will ensure regulatory compliance for A&H (and some P&C) products, drafting and filing policy forms and monitoring advertising materials. You will collaborate with underwriting, legal, and actuarial teams to keep products compliant and operational. The position supports long-term partnerships with internal and external stakeholders while navigating complex regulatory changes. This is an opportunity to shape product design and filing strategy within a respected underwriting-focused insurer.

Responsibilities
  • Independently draft policy forms reflecting underwriting intent and regulatory standards
  • Manage complex product projects across admitted and non-admitted lines in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Publish competitor filing information and stay current on marketing, product design, and filing requirements
  • Review regulatory changes and determine applicable filing requirements
  • Review advertising materials for compliance with internal standards and state guidelines
  • Translate filings into product fulfillment and ensure operationalization of approved products
  • Prepare and issue policy contracts and amendments for complex product structures
  • Respond to routine compliance inquiries in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Perform additional duties and short/long-term projects as assigned by management
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years in insurance industry with exposure to Accident & Health product lines (Travel, Ancillary Benefits, Stop Loss, etc.)
  • Knowledge of insurance compliance laws and regulations; A&H travel knowledge preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Independent work ethic with strong prioritization
