Overview

In this role you will lead a Bankers team to grow and retain profitable MNC banking relationships while maintaining a personal portfolio. You will collaborate with underwriting, treasury sales, client service and other functions to deliver integrated banking solutions. The position offers regional travel and a focus on innovation, customer centricity, and cross company impact. You shape strategy and lead projects that enhance efficiency and partnerships. You will coach a diverse team and advance a high performing culture within a global bank.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of 7-10 Bankers in business development and relationship growth
  • Maintain a personal portfolio while focusing on team leadership and outcomes
  • Partner with credit underwriting, treasury sales, client service and other functions to deliver banking solutions
  • Champion a culture of innovation and customer centricity
  • Stay current with industry trends to identify opportunities for partnerships and improvement
  • Drive firm-wide coverage across lines of business
  • Improve efficiency by leveraging automation and new technologies
  • Lead specially assigned regional projects for the benefit of the region and national team
  • Hire, coach, mentor and retain a high performing, diverse team
  • Foster a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment
  • Travel approximately 25% of the time
Key requirements
  • Typically a minimum of ten years account relationship management experience focused on business relationships
  • Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services with regional knowledge
  • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals; strong individual contributor
  • Management experience in a Commercial Bank setting, leading a commercial lending sales team
  • Sales management and business development skills with ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
  • self-directed, proactive, creative problem solving
  • ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • strong technology experience; digital background preferred
