Overview

As an Account Executive, you will manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, delivering tailored insurance and fintech solutions to meet their needs. You will work closely with a Client Advisor to acquire and retain clients and drive the Total Client Sales Process. Your role combines sales execution with technical insurance expertise to identify opportunities and strengthen client relationships. This is a high-impact position within a collaborative, growth-focused team that values proactive problem-solving and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain trust-based client relationships
  • Identify new business opportunities and cross-sell solutions
  • Meet/exceed sales goals through prospecting and account rounding
  • Conduct needs assessments and deliver customized insurance solutions
  • Negotiate terms with underwriters and carriers
  • Ensure regulatory and policy compliance
  • Provide exceptional service throughout the client lifecycle
  • Collect risk and underwriting information and develop proposals
  • Collaborate with Account Manager on submissions and service
  • Prepare ACORD and other required applications; analyze claims data
  • Secure quotes, negotiate premiums, and prepare binders and certificates
  • Review contracts and process policy changes
  • Utilize carrier websites for rating and loss data
  • Meet with clients as needed; participate in carrier meetings
  • Act as a technical expert to resolve complex issues

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office
  • Knowledge of Agency Management Systems; Applied Epic is a plus
  • Licensing requirements and continued education for licensing
