Director Of Business Development / Long-Term Care Pharmacy Sales

Overview

As Director of Business Development for PharMerica Senior Living, you will lead growth in the Assisted Living segment, partnering with cross functional teams to roll out sales initiatives and expand our book of business. You will manage strategic relationships with Senior Living clients, guide the sales team, and drive revenue effectively in a remote role with substantial travel. Your impact spans market targeting, onboarding new clients, and aligning with client management plans. This is a mission-driven opportunity to shape growth in a national LTC ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and target new customers while expanding existing accounts in Assisted Living
  • Provide guidance and training to the Business Development Associate to optimize sales strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement growth initiatives and ensure seamless new client onboarding
  • Maintain and update CRM with client profiles, competitive data, and strategic plans
  • Act as liaison between inside sales and regional client managers for smooth start-ups
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing client feedback and opportunities for growth
  • Leverage industry data to identify profitable Assisted Living targets
  • Support additional projects as assigned by leadership
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of direct B2B sales experience
  • At least 2 years of experience managing pipeline forecasting or account management in senior living or LTC
  • At least 2 years of cross-functional teamwork experience
  • Experience in LTC B2B sales, new sales pipeline management, upselling/same-store growth, client management, and retention
  • Proven success in meeting financial/revenue goals and objectives
  • Experience with LTC service offerings and competitive LTC pharmacy landscape
  • Experience planning, developing, implementing, and executing marketing and sales campaigns
  • Strong customer service, CRM proficiency, sales acumen, and client management track record
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, strong presentation skills
  • Basic Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
