Overview As an Owner's Authorized Representative, you will lead the planning, design, construction, and closeout of major facilities projects in the public sector. You will serve as the main liaison among clients, design teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring projects meet client standards and regulatory requirements. You'll drive pre-construction through close-out, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to deliver impactful learning environments and community infrastructure. This role offers exposure to high-profile projects that shape public facilities and infrastructure at scale.

Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate pre-construction, bid and award, construction, and close-out phases of assigned projects
- Review pre-construction documents and provide comment to designers as needed
- Prepare status reports for upper management on project progress
- Coordinate with public agencies and District/project staff for off-site work and compliance
- Manage daily contractor activities; review contracts, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and related documents
- Monitor and manage project budget and schedule to meet client standards; reflect progress in budget
- Evaluate contractor substitution submittals for compliance
- Review contractor Change Order Proposals to achieve fair pricing and assess schedule impacts
- Monitor payments processes for contractors, architects, engineers, and others
- Administer Professional Service Agreements between Architects and client
- Coordinate District delivery of fixtures, furniture, and equipment
- Oversee project close-out and certifications with DSA and financial close-out
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Key requirements- BA/BS and 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
- Fifteen years of full-time PM/CM experience for larger commercial/public/educational projects with budgets > $30M (preferred)
- CCM certification (preferred)
- Experience with BIM (preferred)
- LEED/CHPS experience (preferred)
- Experience with DSA processes (preferred)
- Safety/OSHA regulations knowledge (preferred)
