Tax Manager - Banking & Capital Markets

In this Tax Manager role within Deloitte's Financial Services practice, you'll deliver federal tax consulting and compliance services to banking and financial services clients. You will lead client engagements, coordinate with a team of experts, and work with leadership to ensure successful delivery. The role focuses on accounting for income taxes, tax provisions, compliance, restructuring, and controversy, with an emphasis on cross-border and multi-entity considerations. You'll help transform client tax operations and solve complex tax challenges at scale, in a hybrid work environment that blends collaboration with client-facing leadership. • Develop and maintain strong client relationships on federal tax consulting/compliance engagements
• Advise on accounting for income taxes, tax provisions, tax compliance, restructuring, and controversy
• Oversee complex federal tax compliance and consulting projects requiring tax analysis for various entities and affiliates

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 5+ years total corporate tax experience
• Ability to travel up to 25% on average
• Licensure/Accreditation: CPA, Attorney, Enrolled Agent, CFA, CFP, or similar (as specified)
• Hybrid work model requiring 2-3 days co-location per week
