Overview In this role you lead field management for large, complex infrastructure projects, acting as the on-site HNTB representative and owner of project health. You supervise inspectors and field staff, ensure conformance to plans, and guide risk-aware decisions. You collaborate with clients, contractors, and partners to maintain schedule, budget, and quality, while mentoring team members and shaping project delivery. Responsibilities- Lead field management for projects of $10M+ construction value
- Supervise contractors, inspectors, and field engineers to meet plans, specs, and safety standards
- Represent the project on-site with clients and partners
- Monitor schedules, budgets, risks, and progress; escalate issues to keep projects healthy
- Review drawings, submittals, and installation procedures for constructability
- Develop and enforce project management plans and change orders
- Prepare inspection reports, change documentation, and quality logs
- Mentor and develop inspectors and field engineers; support onboarding and performance feedback
- Support business development and pursuit efforts for mega projects
- Ensure defensible, audit-ready documentation and risk management practices
- Oversee project controls including schedule and cost coordination
- Lead proposal development and client presentations for strategic projects
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 10 years construction related experience
