Overview

In this role you will lead electrical and I&C projects from planning through execution, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage subcontractors, schedules, and documentation to realize project objectives. Responsibilities
  • Provide contract administration and technical support for a medium-sized construction project
  • Develop and implement the project safety plan and lead health and safety practices
  • Ensure construction aligns with design, budget, resources, quality, and schedule
  • Propose value engineering to improve functionality, cost, and schedule
  • Monitor project performance and prepare status reports on safety, cost forecast, and schedule
  • Negotiate and issue subcontracts, major purchase orders and progress payments; track progress
  • Enforce contract documents and manage project closeout
  • Identify and manage risk and opportunities on construction projects
  • For design-build deliveries: monitor design progress, quality, and constructability; support design-management planning; audit design quality and compliance; manage stakeholder communications
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
  • 8-10 years of progressive construction experience with leadership and mentoring preferred
  • Strong safety culture experience and knowledge of health, safety, and environment principles
  • Deep knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, codes, and quality practices
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills; budget and schedule management
  • Ability to identify and manage risk and opportunities; build relationships with stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management/scheduling software; adaptability to new technology
