Job description

Overview

In this role you will design and deliver instructor-led process instrumentation and controls training, coordinating schedules, materials, and participants. You'll collaborate across manufacturing, product management, sales and enablement to enable customer success and sales growth. You'll ensure CEU accreditation and maintain training facilities and demos, shaping Yokogawa's education offerings for a global client base. Responsibilities
  • Deliver instructor-led classes in process instrumentation and controls
  • Coordinate training schedules, instructors, materials, and logistics
  • Manage pre- and post-registration communications with trainees
  • Maintain training center, demo hardware, and YIPS assets
  • Provide product/service overviews at group seminars and to sales/marketing
  • Feedback loop with sales and PMK on training effectiveness and customer needs
  • Develop yearly training messaging with Sales Enablement and PMK
  • Pursue Continuing Education Credits (CEU) accreditation
  • Maintain student records and documentation in Yokogawa platforms
  • Grow training-driven revenue by generating training sales and fostering client relationships
  • Support stakeholders with implementation of training products and solutions
  • Ensure alignment with corporate calendar and online registration systems
  • Miscellaneous duties related to training operations
Key requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
  • Strong problem identification and objections resolution
  • Ability to plan, organize, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • 10+ years of experience in Industrial Automation Instrumentation
  • BS in Engineering preferred
  • Travel 10-50% (infrequent)
  • Knowledge of training operations and sales enablement is a plus
