The work centers on translating schematics into manufacturable boards while ensuring signal integrity and high-speed interface requirements. You will contribute to cutting-edge defense technology that powers autonomous systems and AI-enabled sensing. Responsibilities- Collaborate with avionics, system, and software engineers to create test systems
- Translate schematics into PCB layouts following design rules and fabrication practices
- Ensure PCB fabrication, assembly processes, and libraries are properly managed
- Apply signal and power integrity principles to layout for high-speed interfaces
- Support high-density routing and complex boards (e.g., >10 layers) and DFM/DFA efforts
- Work in a team environment to complete designs quickly and meet program milestones
Key requirements- 8+ years of experience with PCB Layout
- 8+ years of experience with Altium
- Ability to read schematics and apply layout best practices
- Solid understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes
- Experience with ECAD libraries and library management
- Familiar with signal and power integrity rules
- Experience with high speed digital interfaces and controlled impedance routing (USB, PCIe, Ethernet)
- Team-oriented and able to collaborate to meet deadlines
