Overview In this Senior Architectural Designer role, you will lead design and documentation for complex projects, spanning from concept to construction. You'll drive BIM-enabled design, coordination, and multidisciplinary work across sectors like science, education, and industry. You'll mentor junior staff, coordinate with engineers and consultants, and ensure buildable, compliant construction documents. Responsibilities- Lead architectural design and documentation from concept to construction
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain BIM models and drawings using Revit and related tools
- Serve as design package lead for assigned scopes
- Coordinate architectural work with structural, MEP, civil, and specialty teams
- Prepare and review construction documents for accuracy and compliance
- Apply building codes, standards, and client criteria to docs
- Participate in quality reviews and coordination meetings
- Support construction administration activities (RFIs, submittals, field coordination)
- Develop visuals and presentations for project development and client engagement
- Mentor junior designers and BIM/CADD staff in workflows and best practices
- Support ongoing improvement of standards, workflows, and project delivery processes
Key requirements- 5+ years of professional architectural design and production experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field
- Advanced proficiency in Revit for documentation and BIM coordination
- Experience developing construction documents across multiple project phases
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams on complex projects
- Strong understanding of building systems and design documentation
- Experience with construction administration activities including RFIs and submittals
- Knowledge of building codes and industry standards
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; excellent communication and organizational skills
