Overview

In this role you drive deal development and economic analysis of commercial opportunities for Williams. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft contracts and solutions that benefit both Williams and customers. You will build networks inside and outside the company and apply expertise in innovative ways to gain buy-in. The position leverages market insight and energy economics to advance opportunities that meet financial and strategic goals. A strong connection to Williams' growth and energy market leadership offers meaningful impact and career development.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct market and customer analysis to identify greenfield opportunities and generate leads
  • Support deal management with analysis, pricing, and proposals
  • Form opinions on customer profiles, competitor intelligence, regulations using third-party tools
  • Build formal and informal networks inside and outside the company
  • Collaborate across the company to close opportunities that meet financial hurdles and strategic fit
  • Other duties as assigned
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field; minimum five years of related experience
  • MBA preferred
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial aspects of the energy industry
  • Understanding of energy market fundamentals, economics, commodity pricing, basin market fundamentals and competitor strategies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to incorporate artificial intelligence into daily routines
  • Previous experience in the CCUS industry welcomed
