Overview

As District Sales Manager, you will drive launch success in your region by building and coaching a high-performing team. You align district goals with corporate strategy, navigate complex payer environments, and translate market insights into actionable plans. Your leadership shapes patient outcomes through disciplined execution and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities
  • Build & lead a high-performing team with coaching and development
  • Translate corporate objectives into district business plans and metrics
  • Drive field coaching, feedback, and talent development
  • Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion across the region
  • Identify future leaders and succession within the team
  • Collaborate to shape national sales strategy and leverage field insights
  • Analyze territory performance and scale best practices
  • Coach on consultative selling and payer access strategies
  • Maintain CRM discipline and ensure compliant, high-quality documentation
  • Manage district budget and resources for ROI
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, and Market Access
  • Navigate payer landscapes and resolve coverage barriers
  • Represent the region in national meetings and launch planning
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years leading pharmaceutical or specialty sales teams
  • Front-line management experience
  • Proven success leading product launches in specialty or related areas
  • Deep understanding of sales strategy, market access dynamics, and HCP engagement
  • Track record of talent development and performance improvement through coaching
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into action
  • Willingness to travel 60-75%
