Overview In this role you drive installation, testing and commissioning of production equipment for a global stone wool manufacturer. You will supervise site work, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and ensure safety and documentation compliance on large projects such as a new factory in Wallula, WA. You'll travel extensively, support international project execution, and relocate to project sites as needed, contributing to ROCKWOOL's sustainable, high-impact manufacturing vision.

Responsibilities- Own installation, testing and commissioning of production equipment and solutions
- Lead project execution for installation and commissioning across sites
- Coordinate with environment, safety, and MMR teams to ensure compliant solutions
- Supervise suppliers/contractors, manage orders and follow-ups
- Ensure documentation and reporting follow company directives and Group Technology rules
- Maintain site safety and adherence to best-practice safety standards
- Travel extensively for project execution, supplier visits, and coordination
Key requirements- 5+ years in a similar role with site installation, mechanical design, machine construction, and design specifications experience
- 3D modelling using Inventor or a similar program
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally (60%)
- Extended periods of presence at project sites and temporary relocation
- Strong communication skills
- Preference for candidates with smith, mechanic or craftsman expertise
