Overview In this role you support the design and delivery of infrastructure projects by performing and assisting with design calculations, reports, plans, and specifications. You work with project teams to research, develop, and evaluate designs using current tools. You contribute to broader project execution through quantity development, cost estimates, and file organization. You operate with initiative on a range of tasks to help ensure on-time project delivery and quality. This position offers involvement in meaningful, large-scale infrastructure work within a collaborative, employee-owned firm.
Responsibilities- Prepare and modify project reports, plans, designs, and calculations
- Develop project quantities and assist with cost estimates
- Support organization and administration of design files
- Conduct research, data collection, field investigations, and design activities
- Perform assigned tasks within schedule and hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience or Master's degree in Engineering with 1 year of relevant experience
- Proficiency in applying engineering, geometric and algebraic principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MicroStation and/or AutoCAD or equivalent software
