Overview

In this Electrical Engineer role, you will design and develop rugged, high-performance electronics for mission-critical defense applications. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle, from concept to production and sustainment, with a strong focus on PCB layout and embedded systems. Your work may involve RF receivers and compact antenna design, integrating microelectronics with novel fabrication techniques. A Secret clearance is required to engage on national security programs, offering a meaningful opportunity to impact warfighter capability.

Responsibilities
  • Research, develop, test, and integrate custom embedded systems and special communications capabilities
  • Design and develop electrical circuits, RF receivers, and compact antennas with minimal oversight
  • Model circuits, perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and fabrication techniques
  • Develop prototypes and document design solutions
  • Support integration and testing to ensure reliable functionality
  • Lead developmental and verification testing, including electromagnetic and environmental testing
  • Collaborate with project leads to analyze requirements, assess risks, and explore alternatives
  • Coordinate with mechanical engineers for mechanical package integration
  • Maintain configuration management documentation and design records
Key requirements
  • Strong oral and written communication; able to present to diverse audiences

  • Experience solving complex technical problems and leading tasks with minimal guidance
  • Proficiency in analog/digital circuit design, embedded microcontrollers, and antenna design
