Overview In this role you partner with Relationship Managers to manage commercial banking credit relationships, driving revenue growth by closing new business and expanding existing accounts. You will underwrite credit exposure, manage a portfolio, and handle credit risk while supporting customers with inquiries. The position involves cross-functional collaboration, joint sales efforts, and active client development to deliver value across the bank's commercial banking suite. This is a hands-on role in a relation-driven, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities- Underwrite all types of credit account exposure
- Manage an assigned credit portfolio
- Close new business relationships and expand existing ones
- Manage credit risk and respond to credit questions
- Make independent calls on assigned relationships
- Provide customer service and support via joint sales calls
- Identify customer needs
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to grow revenue
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven to ten years of commercial banking experience
- Extensive knowledge of commercial lending policy, laws and regulations, credit quality standards, policies and procedures
- Strong relationship management and business development abilities with knowledge of credit products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work across the company to manage customer relationships
