Overview

In this role you lead the SE&I team to architect, engineer, integrate, test, and field Space Warfighting SoS for the Space Force. You work with senior Space Force officers and executives to shape engineering plans, manage requirements, and control interfaces across end-to-end capabilities and kill chains. You will drive rapid deployment of next-generation space and ground capabilities, while identifying urgent mitigation needs early and guiding strategic decisions. You collaborate with government and Booz Allen leadership to implement robust, mission-focused solutions that deter threats.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the technical effort of the SE&I team for Space Force SoS initiatives
  • Architect, engineer, integrate, test, and field end-to-end capabilities, mission threads, and kill chains
  • Develop SoS engineering and integration plans and processes; perform architectural analysis
  • Define and manage requirements; control interfaces and system boundaries
  • Support enterprise reviews and governance boards with systems engineering leadership and program management
  • Analyze problems, prepare technical reports, and recommend solutions to government and executive leaders
  • Collaborate with government and corporate leaders to implement recommendations and mitigate risks early
  • Contribute to transforming the U.S. Space Force to meet growing threats
Key requirements
  • 18+ years of defense systems engineering and development experience
  • 5+ years in systems engineering leadership for large-scale space SoS programs
  • Experience with DoD acquisition system
  • Knowledge of DoD lifecycle planning, program management, and milestones
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to interact with executive leadership and drive organizational change with limited authority
