Asset Wealth Management - Securities Based Lending Analyst

Overview

In this role you support fast, secure credit solutions within Securities Based Lending as part of Wealth Management Operations. You work with lenders and stakeholders across the credit lifecycle, contributing to underwriting prep, collateral analysis, and portfolio management. You'll gain end-to-end exposure to secured credit, with opportunities to influence processes and learn about derivatives and wealth advisory capabilities. This position combines analytical rigor with client-facing collaboration in a global financial institution.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Securities Based Lenders through the credit lifecycle and portfolio management
  • Prepare client analyses prior to underwriting and obtain credit information
  • Produce collateral analyses to support underwriting
  • Support loan grading and pricing inputs
  • Conduct annual reviews and draft renewal/modification recommendations
  • Analyze client data across multiple systems for preliminary credit reviews
  • Review loan documentation for accuracy and regulatory alignment
  • Assist in preparing loan documentation packages
  • Ensure documentation complies with applicable federal and local regulations
Key requirements
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of financial markets and asset vehicles (e.g., mutual funds, equities, fixed income, municipals)
  • Effective interaction with internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Ability to learn about derivatives, investments, and wealth advisory capabilities
  • Ability to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese in addition to English
