Overview In this role you will oversee critical accounting operations to strengthen the organization's financial foundation. You will guide monthly close activities, improve controls across domestic and international operations, and support compliance and reporting. You'll lead a high-performing finance team and partner with cross-functional groups to ensure accurate financial results and smooth audits. Responsibilities- Direct the monthly close cycle to ensure timely, accurate financial results
- Oversee revenue recognition activities, including percent-of-completion, with project leadership, billing, and FP&A
- Review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation
- Lead annual audit coordination and respond to external auditors
- Coordinate with tax advisors and internal stakeholders for timely tax filings
- Oversee cash, receivables, payables, and banking activities to strengthen working capital and controls
- Maintain accounting policies, process documentation, and segregation of duties
- Coach and manage accounting staff and build a service-focused team
- Assist with acquisition accounting, due diligence, and integration of new entities
- Support regulatory compliance activities (business licenses, insurance-related requests, retirement plan audits)
