Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Manager- Special Assets

As Assistant Vice President - Portfolio Manager, you will analyze, underwrite, and coordinate closing of complex loans in line with bank policies. You will work with the Commercial Banker to monitor credit risks and drive loan activity that supports regional and branch goals. You'll gather information and present financing requests for senior management approval, while ensuring compliant processing and servicing. You'll also model superior client service as you interface with clients and support cross-functional teams. • Analyze and underwrite major and complex loans in accordance with lending policies
• Coordinate loan processing and closing activities with the Relationship Manager and Commercial Banker
• Assist in presenting financing requests to senior management or Loan Committee
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, applicable regulations, and credit standards
• Interface with clients to assess credit needs and structure loans
• Support portfolio management, problem-solving in processing/servicing, and upkeep of existing portfolios
• Uphold superior customer service through proactive follow-through
• Handle underwriting, portfolio management, and related tasks for new and existing loans

• 4+ years of experience in Portfolio Management or related field
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Intermediate knowledge of banking operations, including loan administration and treasury management
• Intermediate knowledge of regulatory compliance obligations and industry standards
• Intermediate knowledge of commercial credit, loan structuring, and pricing dynamics
• Credit analyst training completed
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills
