Overview As Director, Accounting you lead Conga's global accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, closes, and compliance. You'll manage day-to-day operations while building scalable processes for a high-growth SaaS environment. You'll collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Legal, and business leaders to align operations with financial outcomes. This hands-on role drives audits, month-end close, and technical accounting, shaping a compliant, data-driven finance function.

Responsibilities- Lead global accounting operations and ensure integrity of financial reporting
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes
- Oversee audits and coordination with external auditors
- Enhance accounting processes for scalability in a SaaS environment
- Ensure robust internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Partner with Finance, FP&A, Legal, and business leaders to align operational activities with financial outcomes
- Drive process improvements and improvements to close timelines and reporting quality
- Lead and develop the accounting team, fostering talent and performance
Key requirements- 8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience in SaaS/tech
- Strong expertise in US GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience leading month-end and quarter-end closes
- Leadership experience and talent development
- Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition in SaaS context (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA strongly preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems and FP&A tools (preferred)
- Experience leading annual audits and working with external auditors
- Strong internal controls and compliance framework understanding
