Cost Manager

As a Cost Manager at Pick Everard you will play a pivotal role in delivering cost management across education, healthcare and heritage projects. You will guide projects from inception to completion, ensuring accurate estimates and robust cost controls while fostering strong client relationships. • Support project delivery across education, healthcare and heritage sectors with values ranging from 5m to 250m
• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, contract documents and project reports
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure high service standards
• Act as a key client contact and manage projects from inception to completion
• Coordinate day-to-day project planning and programming
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and best practices

• Relevant qualification and/or demonstrable cost management experience in a consultancy
• Experience managing projects across the built environment including feasibility studies and pre/post-contract cost management
• Strong understanding of JCT and NEC contracts
• Experience liaising with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong planning/organisational skills and ability to manage project programming
• Excellent communication for reports and presentations
• MRICS qualification and Chartered Surveyor status
