Overview As Manager, Brand PR you will shape The Home Depot's external narrative across earned and owned channels to support brand, product innovation, and growth. You'll collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, eCommerce, and other teams to align communications with company strategy and senior leadership. Expect to craft compelling brand stories, drive media and influencer engagement, and measure impact on business objectives. This is a cross-functional, impact-driven role at a market-leading retailer with a strong focus on customer and contractor audiences.
Responsibilities- Plan and execute internal and external communications; partner with senior leaders to amplify initiatives
- Create clear messaging and materials for ongoing and initiative-based communications for diverse audiences
- Develop and implement a measurable earned media strategy that supports product innovation and year-over-year growth
- Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of internal and external communications
Key requirements- 8+ years of PR experience in agency or in-house settings, retail preferred
- B2C experience with demonstrable placements
- Ideal background in sports marketing
- Experience delivering earned media strategies tied to product innovation and business growth
- Proven ability to counsel, develop, and execute campaigns in collaboration with merchandising, e-commerce, marketing, and other departments
- Strong collaboration with internal marketing teams to support new marketing and sales initiatives
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
