Responsibilities- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts
- Provide producibility feedback to design engineering throughout development and production
- Create and maintain product flow diagrams, work instructions, and operating instructions
- Evaluate nonconforming hardware and contribute to quality investigations and process improvements
- Collaborate with production teams to implement improvements and increase efficiency
- Partner with Production Control to prioritize work and support delivery schedules
- Analyze production performance data and support Quality Assurance with root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support the development and production of advanced defense systems
Key requirements- Demonstrated experience with mechanical and/or electromechanical assemblies and related manufacturing processes
- Ability to create, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation (work instructions, product flow diagrams, operating instructions)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and other technical documentation
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment and collaborating with production teams to improve processes
- Ability to use production data to support problem solving, process improvement, or quality investigations
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret-level security clearance or higher
