Overview

In this role you drive operational leadership for the Firm's Inventory Management and Client Receivables, aligning with the firm's strategy to optimize billing, collections, and inventory performance. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop data-driven insights, and oversee process improvements to enable scalable service delivery. The position combines people leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and governance of standards to mitigate risk and resolve issues promptly. Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor Client Receivables leadership, fostering accountability, collaboration, and ongoing development
  • Provide strategic and operational oversight of Client Receivables, ensuring effective inventory management, workload optimization, risk mitigation, and timely issue resolution
  • Develop and oversee reporting, dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and performance metrics to monitor efficiency, inventory trends, collections, and portfolio risk
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, scalability, service delivery, and drive organizational change
  • Partner with Financial Systems and stakeholders to evaluate, prioritize, and implement systems, reporting tools, workflows, and strategic projects
  • Serve as primary liaison among Inventory Management, Billing, Finance, Financial Systems, Practice Management, and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of firmwide initiatives
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; strong preference stated
  • 7-10 years of experience in law firm finance, revenue management, inventory management, collections, or related operational leadership roles
  • Prior leadership and people management experience
  • Experience developing reporting, analytics, and operational metrics
  • Experience leading projects, process improvement initiatives, and organizational change
  • Experience with Aderant and related financial systems preferred
  • Availability to support critical operational issues outside normal business hours
