Overview As a Design Architect in the Advanced Facilities group, you will shape state-of-the-art mission-critical buildings, including semiconductor and life sciences facilities. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team across Albany/Syracuse to enhance design quality and support client engagement. You will lead design tasks, coordinate activities, and mentor junior staff, driving technical excellence and innovative solutions. Responsibilities- Lead design development for layout, technical design, construction drawings, specifications, and model creation
- Coordinate design and construction activities across disciplines and with stakeholders
- Mentor designers/drafters and less experienced engineers; advance workflows and tools
- Attend project meetings, resolve concerns, and participate in quality reviews
- Manage own workload, deliver timely and cost-effective work, and ensure high-quality outputs
Key requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- Professional Architecture license in the U.S.
- Minimum 7 years of architecture experience
- Experience with building codes and specifications
- Proficiency in Revit
