Overview In this role you lead the development of high-voltage and pulsed-power hardware for Helion's fusion devices, shaping the electrical architecture and driving rapid, safe execution. You mentor a multidisciplinary team and partner with Research, Mechanical, and Production to meet program milestones. You directly impact machine performance and the delivery of clean, reliable electricity at scale. This onsite role at Everett offers the opportunity to influence next generation fusion prototypes and advance toward a commercial power plant.

Responsibilities- Grow and mentor a team of multidisciplinary electrical engineers
- Oversee design of machine architecture, pulsed power circuits, and grid-interfacing systems
- Drive schedule ownership and optimize team delivery to hit milestones
- Lead design, analysis, and process improvements to increase throughput
- Collaborate with Research, Mechanical, and Production to derive system requirements and meet program goals
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
- 7+ years of engineering experience including 2+ years in technical leadership or management
- Proven ability to grow engineers and influence career progression
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with full project ownership
- Hands-on experience across electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing disciplines
- Ability to apply first-principles thinking to solve complex technical problems
