Overview In this role you lead pursuit and preconstruction activities to win work and guide complex projects. You provide leadership for multiple small projects or a large, high complexity program, owning safety, budget, quality, schedule, and profitability. You shape quality culture, coordinate design with stakeholders, and drive risk, cost optimization, and constructability outcomes. You work with cross functional teams to prepare proposals, present to clients, and mentor project staff, enabling meaningful, impact oriented outcomes.

Responsibilities- Lead pursuit and preconstruction activities to contribute to estimates, proposals, and presentations.
- Provide leadership for several small projects or one large, complex project.
- Oversee quality management plans and promote a quality culture with stakeholder alignment.
- Coordinate design reviews with stakeholders to address compliance, scope, cost optimization, and safety in design.
- Monitor design documentation readiness and accuracy across design stages.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary design coordination and identify scope gaps and technical risks.
- Manage progress payments with clients and trade contractors and monitor progress.
- Review subcontractors' submittals for scope, design, and cross discipline coordination.
- Supervise and mentor project teams across sites; ensure site inspections and commissioning sign offs.
- Challenge processes by evaluating inputs from operations and support departments.
Key requirements- 15+ years of progressive construction experience with multiple contract delivery types (leader/mentor preferred).
- 2-5 years as construction manager with leadership on successful projects (preferred).
- 12-24 months of estimating or related experience (preferred).
- Expert knowledge of safety, environmental principles, procedures, and legislation.
- Experience with diverse project types, delivery methods, sequencing, and timelines.
- Strong understanding of construction laws and building codes; ability to apply them.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple facets of construction projects and coordinate scopes.
- Experience leading project meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams; client presentation experience.
- Ability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks on complex construction projects.
