Overview

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of AI-driven systems within a high-caliber engineering pod, shaping technical vision and architecture. You'll ensure production-grade quality, rigorous testing, and observable, secure code across rapid cycles. You'll collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable AI outcomes. The position sits in KPMG's AI & Data Labs, offering impact at scale and a culture that values integrity, collaboration, and excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Build and deploy end-to-end AI systems from problem framing to deployed workflow with measurable impact
  • Define and own the technical vision and architecture for team solutions
  • Promote production discipline with best practices in context engineering, evaluation, and operability; enforce robust testing and security standards
  • Deliver production-ready software in fast-paced cycles with stakeholder feedback and risk management
  • Lead by example to foster high-talent teams and transparent risk/progress communication
  • Lead collaboration across stakeholders (engineers to C-suite) to design AI systems delivering tangible outcomes
  • Utilize development accelerators (Claude Code, Lovable, Cursor) where policy permits to boost delivery
  • Maintain integrity and professionalism to support a respectful work environment
Key requirements
  • 7+ years of experience shipping end-to-end production software with ML/AI focus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum high school diploma or GED
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of modern AI technologies and methodologies; experience in context engineering, evaluation discipline, full-stack capabilities, model strategy fluency
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS) is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and mentor technical teams (at least 3 years)
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills; ability to lead diverse audiences (CIO, CISO, CFO, engineers)
  • Portfolio, GitHub, or system walkthrough demonstrating real work
  • Willingness to travel domestically and globally
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future
