Responsibilities- Designs electrical, programmable, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems for machines and equipment
- Develops and extends SCADA systems for improved operations
- Provides technical support to maintenance and project teams to reduce downtime and costs
- Creates work instructions for integrated processes and equipment
- Drafts electrical schematics for projects involving robots, cameras, PLCs, sensors and drives
- Coordinates with external integration partners and suppliers during installations/commissioning
- Analyzes processes to identify data to store in databases and supports cross-functional projects
- Travels to support project execution
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in electrical / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of control and electrical system design for automated manufacturing
- Experience with manufacturing processes and quality improvement approaches (Six Sigma, SPC)
- Project management experience and ability to interact with customers and suppliers
- Basic knowledge of safety and environmental procedures (5S, Lockout/Tagout, ISO-14001)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and in teams
