Overview In this role you will lead and direct terminal projects across capital, sustaining, reliability, and regulatory scopes to ensure safe, compliant delivery. You will collaborate with multiple departments to align execution with business objectives and regulatory standards. You'll oversee design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout, applying your engineering and project management expertise to optimize performance. This position offers the chance to shape infrastructure at scale within a major energy platform and empower cross-functional teams. You will drive project execution while maintaining safety, efficiency, and environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities- lead and direct project efforts across capital, sustaining, reliability, regulatory, and business development initiatives
- provide leadership through all project phases: scope, engineering coordination, scheduling, estimating, procurement, construction oversight, commissioning, closeout
- coordinate with Terminal Operations, Commercial, Engineering, Maintenance, Project Execution, Inspection, and EHS for safe, compliant delivery
- manage various terminal and infrastructure projects across multiple facilities
- oversee internal and external engineering, construction, inspection, and consulting resources
- plan and manage multiple projects ensuring commercial, operational, safety, environmental, and regulatory objectives
- develop project design basis documents, scopes of work, execution plans, cost estimates, schedules, risk assessments, and funding requests
- manage full project lifecycle from feasibility to closeout and provide technical support for civil/structural systems and related facilities
- collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to improve reliability, safety, efficiency, and compliance
- ensure adherence to DOT, OSHA, EPA, PHMSA, and other regulations and maintain regulatory files
Key requirements- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or 5-7 years of progressively responsible project management experience in relevant facilities
- experience in design, conveyance, warehousing, heavy equipment, tanks, pipelines, and terminal operations
- proficiency in project scoping, estimating, cost and schedule control, design/construct management, and procurement
- working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and state agencies; familiarity with NEC, ASME, API, NFPA, ASCE, ACI, ASTM
- certifications such as NACE, API 570/510/653 or AWS are a plus but not required
- valid state driver's license with satisfactory driving record
- proficiency with Excel, Word, Project, Outlook; basic AutoCAD and Visio/MS Project
