Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate trade contractors to meet schedule and quality targets
- Supervise and develop the project team
- Manage general conditions budget and site services
- Develop and communicate the field work plan and changes
- Lead site walks with owner, architect/engineer, and lenders to show progress
- Maintain contract documents, anticipate problems, and plan ahead
- Ensure permits and inspections are obtained in a timely manner
- Act as primary safety representative and foster a safety-first culture
- Develop safety strategies and oversee safety compliance
- Lead contractor meetings and review daily reports for accuracy
- Communicate schedule status and changes to project team and trades
- Coordinate jobsite logistics and material management for Next 150/Site Services
- Develop and implement the Quality in Construction (QIC) plan with Ops Excellence
- Resolve jurisdictional disputes with BU leadership support
- Build credibility with owners, trades, unions, and partners
- Mentor junior team members and lead technical trainings
- Participate in business development, pursuits, and preconstruction needs
- Administer Time and Materials tracking and daily huddles
- Lead ground-up construction with foundation experience
- Engage with the community and align with local market needs
- Collaborate with business development on sales strategies and profit optimization
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 15+ years of healthcare construction experience on $50M-$100M projects or multiple projects in lead superintendent roles
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- STS-C Certification
- First Aid/CPR/AED/Stop the Bleed training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry software
- Construction-document literacy and knowledge of all project phases
- Familiarity with Pull Planning process
- Experience in cost control, scheduling, and safety enforcement
