Overview In this role you support EPC projects and construction management activities, helping the Project Manager and site teams deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams across multiple industries, handling safety, quality, procurement, contracts, and documentation to drive project execution. You'll contribute to risk reviews, plans, and communications with clients and stakeholders, ensuring smooth delivery from mobilization to closeout. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, multi-project environments and wants to impact large-scale engineering ventures.
Responsibilities- Assist in developing and implementing Project Execution Plan, Quality Assurance Plan, Safety & Health Plan, Subcontracting Plan, and Procurement Plan
- Contribute to negotiations and administration of primes, subcontracts, PO's, and change orders
- Prepare RFPS, assist scope development, bid/award processes, and contract documents for subcontractor selection
- Support cost reporting, scheduling, WBS, project setup/closeout, and field progress tracking
- Manage project documentation, filing systems, and ensure compliance with insurance, licenses, taxes, and security requirements
- Conduct safety, quality, progress, and financial audits and assessments
- Facilitate materials receiving, inventory control, storage, and transportation
- Collaborate with Superintendents/Site Managers to verify subcontractor compliance with docs, safety, quality, and schedule
- Assist with project turnover, recordkeeping, warranty, and closeout processes
- Support onboarding of craft supervision and development of craft training
- Analyze labor, craft classifications, and crew rates to manage costs and productivity
- Ensure appropriate staffing with field operations HR team and monitor labor burdens
- Maintain compliance with company policies and assist with project labor agreements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor Degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; applicable experience may substitute degree
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail
- Ability to handle large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transmission & distribution, transportation, or water industries is preferred
- Basic understanding of GAAP
