Overview In this role you support planning, design, and permitting of civil/site development and infrastructure projects in Nashville. You work within a collaborative, learning-focused team delivering site/civil design for mixed-use, residential, education, federal, and other developments. You will apply engineering methods to assess soils, topography, hydrology, and permitting considerations, shaping safe and scalable solutions. Responsibilities- Prepare and modify engineering documents (reports, plans, specifications, schedules, cost estimates) using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software
- Evaluate soils, terrain, hydrology, and geologic data to inform planning and design
- Assist with land use permitting familiarity and compliance
- Collaborate with team members on project tasks
- Perform additional duties as needed
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT certification; PE preferred
- 3+ years of site/civil design experience (planning, grading, drainage, stormwater)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong written and verbal communication
