Overview In this role you drive strategic distributor relationships and national account support to position the company as a supplier of choice. You collaborate across departments to implement best practices, guide sales planning, and pursue market opportunities. You will travel to trade shows, meet distributors face-to-face, and navigate multi-channel distribution to achieve budgets and expand in new markets. Your work supports senior leadership in applying policies and growing the business through credible, data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities- Act as liaison between Distributors and Corporate offices
- Develop and implement best practices for establishing, building, and maintaining customer relationships
- Travel to work trade shows and open houses
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with distributor principals and management
- Perform distributor visits as required
- Resolve market conflicts within Daikin distribution channels
- Assist in sales planning and forecasting
- Execute sales efforts to achieve budgetary goals
- Recommend improvements to services and expand in new markets
- Identify untapped or underdeveloped market opportunities
- Collaborate with Company Owned Distribution for National Accounts support
- Work across departments in a matrix organization to meet short deadlines
- Implement PAP and Rebate Automation knowledge
- Align work with Director's expectations and business plan
- Provide guidance and training to subordinates
- Authority to hire, set pay, and terminate recommendations
- Build rapport, credibility, and trust with internal and external stakeholders
- Think strategically, manage risk, and innovates in problem-solving
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with varied audiences
- Demonstrate high business acumen and financial understanding
- Engage in travel domestically and internationally
- Utilize MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- 3-7 years in strategic sales or sales management; proven strategic account management experience
- Proven track record in exceeding customer expectations and managing multi-million contracts
- Sell to all levels including C-level
- Ability to operate remotely within a matrix environment
- Knowledgeable in channel partner models and local competitive landscape
- Travel without restriction
Key requirements- 3-7 years of progressive responsibility in strategic sales or sales management to mid-size and large customers
- Proven strategic account management experience with multi-million contracts
- Track record of exceeding customer expectations and anticipating needs
- Experience developing and managing new and existing accounts and selling to all organizational levels, including C-level
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite
- Knowledge of PAP and Rebate Automation
- Ability to operate in a matrix organization and collaborate across divisions
