Overview As a Quality Systems Engineer, you will own the policies that shape how the company operates, ensuring hardware is designed, built, and operated with engineering rigor. You'll apply QA requirements (NQA-1) to keep Radiant compliant while supporting production and evolving procedures. You'll lead internal audits and drive continuous improvement in quality across a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. This role blends technical work with operational execution and offers influence at the intersection of innovation and quality.

Responsibilities- Establish and implement practices to ensure hardware design, build, and operation meet high engineering standards
- Understand and implement QA requirements (NQA-1) to maintain regulatory compliance
- Evaluate QA procedures' impact on production and revise them to support manufacturing while staying compliant
- Create new policies/procedures to address changing priorities and challenges
- Execute an internal audit program to verify compliance and effectiveness of the quality program
Key requirements- Undergraduate degree in engineering
- Deep familiarity with quality management systems (AS9100, ISO9001, NQA-1, TS16959)
- 2+ years of full-time experience in hardware design, testing, systems engineering, build reliability or quality assurance
- Ability to challenge assumptions and drive root-cause analysis
- Hands-on experience with requirement derivation, negotiation and verification; product design process relating to systems, interfaces, and specifications
- Interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external groups
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
