Overview In this role you own Creo usage and standards across a multidisciplinary engineering organization, acting as the technical authority for CAD methods and Windchill integration. You will provide hands-on support, training, and coaching to raise CAD quality and consistency, collaborating with engineering leadership to enable reuse and design integrity. This long-term, non-management position offers direct impact on how CAD is applied enterprise-wide and a clear ownership of Creo practices. You'll operate in a high-autonomy environment at ConMet's Vancouver HQ, driving transformation in CAD usage.

Responsibilities- Own PTC Creo usage and best practices across the engineering organization
- Define and maintain CAD standards and modeling conventions
- Provide hands-on user support for complex modeling, assemblies, and drawings
- Train, coach, and mentor engineers to improve CAD quality and efficiency
- Partner with engineering leadership to improve design consistency and reuse
- Collaborate with PLM teams to ensure Creo works effectively within Windchill workflows
- Act as the final authority on Creo methods, configuration, and usage guidance
Key requirements- 8+ years of hands-on Creo in a production engineering environment
- Proven CAD administration, standards development, and user support experience
- Strong background in training and mentoring engineers
- Deep understanding of design intent, assemblies, drawings, and configurable models
- Working knowledge of Windchill from a CAD author perspective
- Experience in manufacturing-focused design environments (machined parts, castings, production drawings)
